  First I'd like to thank you for taking time to read this, my name is Will. I'm starting this GoFundMe for my friend Kristina.  She's not just a pretty face, Kristina is one of the nicest most giving persons I've ever met.  She does charity work all the time. I remember when she was dropping off food to needy people who couldn't get out and couldn't afford it that she picked up from a local food pantry. All in her own vehicle which by the way is an old vw bus. It needs work too but she really needs to get her home back up to livable status. She's been sleeping on people's couches, in spare bedrooms and in her bus. This woman deserves help, she was a police officer and she was in the coastguard. Absolutely loves helping others out all the time. She operates a nonprofit organization that really hasn't taken flight yet but hopefully this will boost it a little. Her home is an old boat that she didn't get a good deal on, the previous owner covered all the wood rot with carpet. She found out the hard way that you should always get a boat survey done before you buy. As she was in the process of fixing her home it took on some water one night during a rainstorm due to drains being plugged up and not have a bilge pump with a float on it. It got so much rain trapped in it that it back filled the exhaust and other drains causing her home to sink in the boat slip. Myself and a few other people helped raise it back up and with Kristina as my helper I got one of the engines running without buying any major parts. However the port engine hasn't ran yet. Had to get a new ignition module, starter and alternator.  Just waiting for the ignition module to get here then hopefully it will run too. If not she's gonna need a lot more money than the 10k I'm asking for to help her out.  Really she needs a lot more than 10k to get her houseboat livable again. It is a mess. Not like she doesn't pick up after herself mess but more like the movie moneypit  with Tom hanks mess. Its difficult to find a place to start to be honest.  But with your generosity and a little help from yours truly and few other lives she's touched with her generosity we can give this outstanding example of what a human should be like, a home she can call her own.
