My Ethiopia Mission Trip

Hi all!
My name is Bethany, and I am a sophomore attending Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. Just recently, I was granted the opportunity to attend a mission trip in Ethiopia (Africa) this upcoming May, 2015. On this trip, we will be aiding an organization in feeding orphaned children off of the streets in several cities. Because these kids have grown up with no parents, guardians, or any positive influences in their lives, they have been labeled as destined to fail. They are expected to amount to nothing more than theives and beggars, thus this is what they resort to.
Our primary mission is to share the gospel to these orphans - that there is a God who loves them immensley and that they are not alone. Evangelism is simply planting these little seeds of hope, that may one day sprout up and bear incredible fruit. Every ounce of time, money, and effort that will go into this trip is for those little seeds that will make an eternal difference.
For most of you who know me, you know that I am not the biggest people-person in the world. I am a little shy, and reaching out to people is definitely out of my comfort zone. I have so much peace about going on this trip, that I know it couldn't be anything other than God's voice. BUT, I do need some help to get there! Any little bit will be enourmously appreciated, and of great use. More importantly, please help me in praying for lives to be changed on this trip, not just in the little ones, but the team as well!
