    Lucy, the adorable little puppy with the will to live!

     Little Lucy was left abandoned in the bush with no home, nor anyone to care for her. During her search for food, Lucy ended up with her head stuck in a container. With no access to food or water, Lucy wondered North Shore Oahu afraid, deteriorating a little more each day.

     Nearly three weeks later, Lucy was cornered and the container removed. Her body was frail and she was unsteady on her feet. We attended to her medically and brought her to our home. Lucy was never micro-chipped, nor claimed through the Humane Society.

     Sweet Lucy has melted the hearts of everyone she meets. Her loyal personality and love for cuddles would make her the best companion. Finding Lucy a home has been extremely challenging, as there are so many abandoned animals on the island.

     However, Nancy, an elderly woman who lost her beloved husband Bryan several years ago and her brother Ron just last month, has invited Lucy into her family in Australia. As Nancy is of age, Lucy will be cared for by the Daughter In-law and Son, with regular sleepovers at Nancy’s house. This beautiful puppy Lucy is excited to meet her new family.

    Nancy and Lucy have both faced life’s challenges and losses. It’s now time that they come together to support one another.
We are raising funds to send Lucy to Australia in time for Christmas, to live a well deserving life of endless love and care. Your generous donation will be put towards her flight, quarantine, and medical expenses.
