She was the only student nominated from her whole school! The summer program is a week long and is designed for Future STEM Leaders, a unique learning experience for bright, forward thinking innovators, engineers, doctors, software developers, and scientists. Students learn by doing during six days of hands-on simulations and workshops, while making new friends and having unforgettable adventures.
After the nearly unbearable challenges that Josephine and her family have had to endure these past few years, this is a beacon of hope and light for our brilliant, persevering, loving and shining light that is Josephine Guzman.
Natalie and Mike are determined to get Josephine to this life changing experience despite being stressed to the max and not eligible for the scholarships.
Thankfully, many hands can join together to lighten their load. Please consider a donation to the cause. We are hoping to raise the tuition of $2295 plus travel expenses to Southern California. The Leadership Forum takes place at Occidental College July 22-27, 2018.
