POST from A Daughter and Some that experienced Gwendy' giving heart: Gwendy was a vibrant woman who could light up a room with her presence. Her smile and laughter was contagious and she welcomed everyone into her home like they were family. This single mom raised 5 wonderful well-mannered and loving children as a single mom. That says a lot of positive things for this lady in today’s society. The youngest is still a minor. This past weekend Gwendy health suddenly failed without warning and she passed away.
Unfortunately with such an unexpected lost, there were no funds saved for such a sudden lost. Her children, all still in their youth themselves, trying to make their place in the world and now find themselves financially struggling to try to make ends meet the expense to lay their mother to rest. The communities support is disparately needed for this assistance in funeral and memorial costing.
I am writing this posting in conjunction with her daughter. Who am I? I am a witness to this wonderful ladies loving and kind spirit. In a time of need when I was looking for another elder care provider for my elderly mother, Gwendy came to my rescue. Knowing I did not have the funds to pay such a big cost, she said for me to just give her support to make her ends meet. She even bartered her time with me for care of my mom at times. Her compassion for the elderly was great. I felt my mother was safe under her care. Even when my mom was moved to an elderly facility, she would take time to go visit her. She looked at my mom as part of her family.
It is sad and hurts all who knew her on this sudden lost. As the holidays approach with should have been a great time for her family to be joyous, the sadness of her lost for her children runs deep.
This family truly needs the communities support in prayer and in financial assistance to put her to rest. The children drastically need help in getting the cost needed for these services. Can we all come together and give back to this wonderful lady what she gave out in her love and spirit to others in her life?

Gwendy is a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who touched so many people's hearts. She truly, was larger than life, one of a kind. That smile would light up a room. She touched every soul she came in contact with. That spirit burned. Now she was a grizzly bear, but oh mommy it was always really suga bear. You were so loving, and, oh so very loved. Everybody loved you. You belonged to so many people.
My beloived family and friends, anyone who can, Our family truly needs help. Her funeral has to be paid two days prior to her service. And we really need help. Anything will help, you could have a dollar and it would help. Please help us in this joint effort.
We are holding her service on Saturday, December 2nd at Waylan Blue Ridge Baptist Center, on 15044 Ryland Chapel Rd. in Rixeyville VA and humbly ask you to help us put a beautiful woman to rest.
