We are absolutely devastated by the sudden death of my mother, Gwen Hampton. It was so unexpected and we are in disbelief. This fundraiser is for helping us with the funeral expenses that we were not prepared for.
Gwen was a well-loved San Diegan who knew and cared for many, many people. She loved gospel music, going to church and sending cards to encourage hundreds of people. She was always visiting people in the hospital and buying things for others.
The family is arranging a memorial service for sometime in the future.
