<div>Depuis plus de 10 ans, nous œuvrons dans la réhabilitation et la protection de la faune sauvage du Québec. Une cause qui nous tiens grandement à cœur et qui nous a poussé à démarrer cette belle aventure.

<div>Malheureusement, au Québec, la réhabilitation n’est soutenue par aucune aide gouvernementale. Tous les frais encourus pour chaque animal sauvage sauvé et soigné sont couverts par le zoo.

<div>Ce printemps, nous avons prit sous notre aile trois jeunes oursons orphelins. Leur réhabilitation en nature était prévue au printemps, juste après leur première hivernation. Mais suite à un projet pilote du ministère, et contre notre gré, ils ont été relâchés à 5 mois, quelques semaines après leur sevrage. Étant donné leur très jeune âge et leur besoin de tutelle, deux des trois oursons se sont dirigés vers les activités humaines, dépourvues.

<div>Ceci a engendré leur retour au refuge, et condamné leur réelle réhabilitation à l’état sauvage. Ces deux oursonnes vont désormais devenir des résidentes permanentes du sanctuaire.

<div>La construction d’un nouvel habitat adapté à leur besoin où elle pourront s’épanouir dans le futur est très dispendieux, et cet ajout n’était aucunement prévu dans notre budget annuel.
