Lifting Up the Lebowitz Family

A woman with a heart of gold has been in the Intensive Care Unit for over a week now, on a ventilator. This unexpected and unforeseen happening was the result of Pam unknowingly catching the VERY rare Legionnaires disease. This disease has stripped Pam of her ability to take care of her family the way she is used to. It has also created quite the medical mess for her husband and great caring kids, Nick and Makayla. She is currently sedated and helpless; an unusual and worrying feeling for her and her family as Pam is the rock who kept it all moving. 

Pam was flown in a medivac to a facility which was able to meet her pulmonary needs of being placed on a ventilator after her oxygen levels dipped well below safe. She had no time to prepare, nor did her family. Steve was also in the midst of recovering from an incident which has kept him unable to drive and out of work. 

Pam’s daycare business had to be closed unexpectedly, leaving the family in quite the financial and medical mess. There will be a slew of medical bills for this incident, and more to come, as the road to recovery will be long. Any donation will be appreciated as everything is unforeseen and uncertain at this moment; nobody should have to go through this worrying about money. 

As we would want others to do for us, let’s help lift the Lebowitz family up and decrease their burdens so they can focus on becoming whole again and getting Pam home and healthy. Let’s help Steve have peace of mind about the home, food, and children; a Momma Bear always worries her children will be adequately taken care of. 

Pam is a fighter and I hope the more we help to life her family up, the greater she will become.
