From a bait dog to a loving home

Hi my name is Jax. I'm a 2 year old Labrador Retriever and am very sick. I was abandoned and have been on my own for a long time. My previous owners used me as a bait dog for dog fighting. Luckily I was able to escape however being on the run can be just as cruel. I've been attacked by many different animals and vehicles didn't always stop for me. I have come a long way and was lucky enough to have been found by my new owner but she can't afford the treatment I need to continue living. I have an extreme case of heart worms and need to be treated as soon as possible. Right now all I have enough energy to do is eat and use the bathroom but other than that all I do is lay around. Please help me get the treatment I need so I'm not in any more pain and I can be the best dog to my new family. Thank you, love Jax.
