Perla Ibarra-Romero needs your help to go this year's NYLF Pathways to STEM week long seminar. Pearla is in Mr.Hurlock's fourth grade class at Frederick Douglass Elementary School in Seaford, DE. She holds various positions at her school such as Lieutenant of the Safety Patrol, as well as serving as a student ambassador. She has held a 4.0 GPA in school since attending FDES. She is a very motivated child who really wants to learn as much as she can. This opportunity would allow Perla the chance to challenge herself in a new way to enhance her learning. The NYLF Pathways to STEM program is held in Washington DC each year and highlights a focus on STEM projects for students.Perla will stay on campus and work with a team of peers thanks to your kind donation. Let's make this happen for a great kid! All money needs to be collected by March 1st so that she can apply in time for her deadline.
