A Dog and His Bones

They say it's a dog eat dog world... well I haven't been eatin by another dog but a car broke my leg! They tell me I'm only 10 years old so I figure I gotta lotta life in me ; but I couldn't do much liven with only three legs so my family fixed me up real nice. I broke myself good so nobody round here would help me. A few hours on the road and a couple of steel plates later they say I'll be good as new!

I really owe my family big for this one, what with the loan and all. I don't know much about this whole money thing and I'm fearin this might mess up the good beef bone thing I had goin. I hate to ask but I can't even dig up my old ones right now let alone dig up cash!

A friend of my dad's had this idea and he said I might even get on that screen thingamajig!  I'm workin with him to help ease my families strain cause I know dad needs it. My dads plate is pretty full and all with two sons and a broken dog it's a pretty big bone to chew.

- Gus the Dog

Gus truly is a lucky dog. My friend Lance stepped up and treated Gus like a real family member, which he obviously is. His actions impressed me and will impress his young sons some day.
Every dollar counts for most of us and Lance and his family are no different.
Gus does get some beef bones time to time and I'm told it's a funny thing to watch him when he does.
Every dollar really does count. Whatever you can give is very much appreciated.
