 Gurjeet Kaur who the community knows as Guddi came to this country over  3 decades ago.
Her goal was always to make a decent life and she started working as domestic help around Long Island .  She made life easy for many a family by doing various jobs like house keeping , cooking, so they can be free to work.
Being a single woman with  responsibilities, she worked very long hours and was able to rent an apartment onJericho Turnpike in Floral Park NY and make it her home.  But her life tragically changed on Nov. 11th 2020 when a fire in building destroyed all her savings and belongings.
Thankfully, she was working and not in the apartment.
There is a family in Bellrose NY helping her stay with them temporarily, but she has to soon stand on her own two feet and getting an apartment to rent.
The funds will help her  a few months rent to see her thru.

 Please Fund her, it will all come back to the community with her dedicated work by helping so many families.
