Mo's Road to Recovery

"Hi my name is Mo. My parents think I am the sweetest and best kitty around, of course they are right! To tell you a little bit about myself, I have been living with diabetes for a few years now, but that's okay. I can still eat my favorite foods ever which are cheese and tuna.

Last weekend I didn't feel like eating very much so my mom tried to give me my favorite tuna treat. My insides hurt and I couldn't tell her why, but I didn't want to eat it. I curled into a ball and just stared at her. Mom was scared so she took me to a terrifying place, the vet. The vet must have been scared too because I had to be taken to the hospital.

I'm still in the hospital and have had so many tests done. One more needle and someone is going to get at least a dirty look from me! I'm still not hungry, and the doctors have been calling it 'pancreatitis' now. All I know is that I love love love when mom and dad come to visit me...I miss them so much and want them to take me home. I just want to go home."

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and kind words for Mo. We have set up this account because her long stay in the hospital, tests and treatment are a heavy burden to bear. Please help us do everything we can for this amazingly sweet kitty, we're not giving up hope yet. Anything at all will help- we just want her to be able to come home and be comfortable again. We hope she will be well enough to eat her way through a mountain of delicious tuna someday soon (sorry tunas of the world).

Mo has returned home but her road to recovery will be a long one. We remain hopeful that she still has the strength to pull through. Again, any small amount will help us with the cost of her long hospital stay and continuing her care at home. Thank you so much...we love her more than anything.
