Gulf Coast Disaster Relief is a nonprofit 501c3 focusing on recovery efforts after disasters occur.
GCDR began in Louisiana with the Great Flood of 2016. Since then, we have served in recovery efforts across the United States.
After each storm, we have spent days, weeks and months coordinating and/or making deliveries, raising monies for specific needs of groups/individuals and recruiting volunteers from throughout the US to assist in our recovery efforts
We are now turning our efforts to our fellow Americans along the Gulf Coast facing deadly tornadoes in south Alabama.
While our efforts in LA were hands on, our efforts in TX turned to coordinators of supply donations and deliveries into areas hardest hit. In these efforts, we assisted volunteer drivers/pilots with fuel needs, assisted emergency LEO personnel and stranded families with lodging needs and so much more as we went along.
We will do as before for those who wish to help but can not get supplies directly into our hands. With the funds donated, we purchase supplies to include into the coordinated deliveries. PLEASE understand how far we can make even $10 go during these times! From our previous experience, we can feed approximatley 25 people with just $10.

We also would love for you to join the group and share our efforts. We have over 1,750 members currently that are from all walks of life and offer expertise in just about any area you could imagine.
Those in need are encouraged to post directly to our group page. Members, in turn, will make every effort to meet the needs or provide information on how/where to receive the assistance needed.
It is impossible for Steven and I to say we can't when we know for a fact we can!
