Guillermo needs a Wheelchair Van

My son Guillermo hasn't had it easy, but I will say he's definitley  the strongest young man I know.  When Guillermo was 4 months old he suffered  a traumatic brain injury which left him severly incapacitated.  Since then it's been numerous surgeries and trips back and forth between Reading, St Christopher's Hospital, and The Hershey Medical Center.  The diagnosies which remain are many, but the most prevelant is he is unable to walk or sit on his own, and must use a wheelchair to get around day to day.  Up until last month we had a wheelchair van that I was able to take him anywhere he needed to go.  What happened last month has changed our lives dramatically.  I was waiting to park in front of my house when I was struck by a drunk driver in the middle of the afternoon.  The individual was so intoxicated that they could hardly even lift their head as I looked at them in disbelief.  As I tried to get out of the vehicle, the individual then drove off.  The impact the individual inflicted on the vehicle was so great it deemed the van a total loss.  Now I'm left trying to find ways to get Guillermo to his appoinments, when before I never needed to since I had a wheelchair van for him.  The check received from the insurance is greatly appreciated and will definitely be used towards the purchase of a new wheelchair van, but it will no way purchase another one.  The costs of wheelchair vans are extremely high.  I need a way to get Guillermo where he needs to go.  I've already cancelled any plans we had this summer as we now have no way to get Guillermo out of the house.  I'm not one to really ask for help, honestly I don't even like to talk about Guillermo's story, but i need to put my pride to the side and think about my son and his needs.  He never asked for anything that's happened to him, not when he was 4 months, and not now when this drunk individual damaged his only form of transportation.  Any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance for your help.
