Help Us Bring Lorelei Home

As many of you know, we're in the final stages of completing an adoption that we started 7 years ago. Our new daughter from China will be officially ours this summer (dates to come), but in order to complete this journey we could really use your help. 

We've already invested the funds to cover the adoption agency fees, three separate home studies, fingerprinting (too many times to count), and other miscellaneous requirements. (We kid you not, sometimes our FedEx statement has literally been as high as our electric bill.) 

But even after spending enough to buy a new Ford Fiesta (ouch), we still have a long way to go to complete the process, which is why we are reaching out to our friends and family for any support you can give in order to bring our new daughter home. No amount is too small to make a difference. 

If you aren't in a position to give, please don't worry; your love, prayers, and friendship mean just as much to us as the financial support. For those of you who can, we would like to give you at least a little something in return for your gift. We know it's not much, but it makes us feel a little better for the asking.

Ou Li (soon to be called Lorelei) will be 4 years old in July. When we saw her profile and her beautiful little face, we just knew that she belonged in our family. 

Despite being visually impaired (yes, she is blind), she's friendly, outgoing, happy, and bright. She's already picked up some Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and she can even read quite a few characters in Braille. She loves to sing and we are told she seems to have a gift for music. We can't wait to meet her and bring her home. :)
