Guildford to Glasgow for Kay

Donation protected
Hey guys, so my mum and I have decided to take on a big challenge in order to try and help out our dear friend Kay.  Kay was diagnosed with thyroid cancer earlier this year after struggling with her health for around 5-6 years, she was palmed off constantly and told she was suffering from anxiety and depression until eventually she had to pay for a private MRI scan and they discovered the cancer.

Kay has now had an operation to remove her thyroid and she has had to take a radioactive drink.  Kay is still in a lot of pain, however continues to be palmed off and told that the cancer has not spread.  She is only receiving phone consultations and no one is getting back to her.  We know that the NHS is incredibly underfunded and that with COVID-19 it is even harder but Kay doesn’t deserve to be treated like this.

We want Kay to be able to be around and watch her beautiful little boy Kai grow up.  We want to raise some money in order to get Kay a full body CT scan so that they can know for sure if there are still things that need fixing.

Now, between my house in Guildford and my mum’s house in Erskine there are 408 miles.  We have decided to walk 204 miles each over 6 weeks to try and raise some money (as if we were meeting in the middle), that’s roughly 5 miles a day.  We would appreciate any donations, big or small.
