Welcome Home Fundraiser!

Alberto "Pete" Rivera is about to come home after spending 48 years incarcerated in the New York State prison system. We've been working with Pete through the Parole Preparation Project for the past year and are thrilled that he was granted parole this past November. Pete is looking forward to reuniting with his family, and to small pleasures like riding on the Staten Island Ferry!

We would like to raise some funds to help with his transition into freedom, and get him started with enough money for his basic needs. We hope you'll consider contributing what you can, and help support him as he rebuilds his life on the outside!
