Typhoon Haiyan recently decimated the Philippines.
Two million people in 41 provinces have been affected by the typhoon; officials have estimated that 10,000 people lost their lives. We watched, horrified, as whole cities crumbled and villages were swept out to sea. We watched a nation sink to its knees. But we don't have to watch anymore. We can do something!
We are going to Cebu, Philippines with 18 others from Potential Church. We will be partnering with a long-term missions team based in the Philippines that's already mobilizing, identifying needs, helping communities rebuild their lives and reunite their families, and bringing Jesus to a devastated country. We can't wait to experience life-change as we know our lives will be more impacted than theirs. Your prayers and support are so appreciated!
