As our great and diverse nation begins its healing process after years of divisive rhetoric, racial injustice and violence towards people of color, we understand it is imperative to continue to create opportunities for our communities that lead to upward mobility. And so today we begin our campaign to empower girls from Latinx, Black and Indigenous communities through the creation of a scholarship fund in order to assist these future leaders in realizing their dreams. We are inspired that for the very first time in our nation’s history, both women and girls of color are able to see themselves in the highest positions of our land. <a href="https://guerrerapr.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Guerrera Marketing &amp; PR</a> and owner Loren Medina’s non-profit organization, <a href="https://www.travelwithpurposejourneys.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Travel With Purpose</a> launches our very own scholarship program. The Guerrera x TWP Scholarship Fund will be an ongoing campaign. Applicants can email us their stories explaining why and what they need financial assistance for and how much they need to accomplish their goal. Once an applicant is chosen to receive a scholarship, Travel With Purpose [501(c)3] will make a donation directly to the institution, company or person providing the specified services. *No monies will be donated directly to the scholarship recipients in order to ensure the legitimacy of the entries.
