On Wednesday evening (9/13/17), our dear friend Danielle’s apartment caught fire and unfortunately they lost everything that was inside. Thank God everyone, including their dog, was out of the apartment when the fire happened.
Danielle and her family recently relocated to Indianapolis. They do not yet know many people in their new community. Renters Insurance was on their to do list, so a large bill to fix the apartment is looming over them. In addition, they now need to find a new place to live and rebuild their lives. They recently contracted on a new home to be built, and this too will likely be put on hold.
Jason, Danielle, and their daughters (ages 2 and 5) need everything - toys, clothes, furniture, even the basic necessities - as they are left with only the clothes they were wearing at the time. Any donations will go directly to help them get back on their feet. This is such a devastation, and after hurricane Irma, we all have a new appreciation for the haven that is home.
Cash donations will be essential for them to quickly get what is needed ASAP. However, donations of tangible items (i.e. household items, clothes, furniture, toys, etc.) will also be accepted and appreciated.
