The Earnest Foundation Orphanage & Kindergarten is located in Iganga, Uganda and serves children in the community from ages 3 to 11. The Foundation has been providing care and education for local children for a few years and recent updates include the addition of solar panels as well as an outdoor well for drinking water.
Unfortunately, a recent drought has caused a significant increase in the cost of food locally. Previously, corn was grown on the land next to the orphanage to provide extra food for the children, but the drought has caused crop failure this year. This is why we're turning to others for assistance. Any amount can help and allow the Orphanage to continue its critical mission in the area.
