Who we are?

We are Drasi International Service Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the service of those in need all over the world. Drasi is a Greek word that means action; thus exemplifying what Jesus came to do in His ministry in earth, to serve. Every cent you contribute to our organization is put to action for the people in need. Our organization focuses on the practical life of Christianity. Our main goal is to show every person in the world that we have a loving God who cares about our needs and is interested in our welfare and salvation. At the same time, we encourage those who want to become vessels and tools for the message of love and hope trough service and charitable work. Drasi International Service is a sister corporation of Ministerio Mision Drasi Inc. from Puerto Rico who pursue the same values and mission that our international California based ministry.

Mission Statement:
To show the Love of God through the service to people while sharing the message of Jesus and His salvation.

Our Vision:
To serve the community and needy with the development of medical clinics, health education services, and charitable missions both locally and internationally.

Our Experience:
We have already conducted our first mission in Guazacapán Guatemala for 14 days on March 2013. (see our pictures and videos) On this first mission we had the opportunity to spread the love of God by serving the community needs. We took care for 367 patients including children, held a week long children bible school, held a week long spiritual revival week, distributed 100 shoes, and 100 bags with a two week supply of healthy food. We also conducted health promotion and prevention lectures, cleaned children with lice and provided special interventions to individuals. Above all we were blessed by Guazacapan's people love and kindness. Many other things were done to the Glory of God. Everyone went and came back safe.

Our General Goals:

Provide coordination of medical missions with the emphasis of health prevention, education and special medical needs. This will be conducted by bringing medical personnel to the field to provide direct medical care and prevention services.

Present educational seminars and public health education to develop children, youth, and healthy families. This will be performed by direct community necessity survey and intervention strategies.

Assist churches, communities, schools and non-profit organizations to provide them with their special local needs. This will be conducted by establishing a local community contacts with deep knowledge of their special necessities.

Provide a practical ground for people who want to develop themselves for missionary service by providing them the opportunity in our mission trips around the world. This will be accomplished by presenting the opportunity to regular people aligned with our mission to become involved in our missionary trips and by opening intern spots for public health related disciplines to attend out international mission trips.
