It’s that time of year again to spread Christmas spirit, and bring joy to children in Guatemala.
My name is Briana Irwin and I'm a freshman at the University of Alabama. For the past several years, I have raised money to buy and personally hand-deliver gifts on Christmas day to over a thousand kids living in rural Guatemalan villages (see video from last year ). These kids live in extreme poverty and this is literally the only gift they will get all year!
Please help me reach for the stars and raise $2,000 to bring even more joy to these wonderful children. Through your help, we can make this possible and put a smile on so many children on Christmas day.

Every winter break, I travel to the Peten region of northern Guatemala, specifically to the municipality of San Andres where my mother is from.
Together with the vice mayor of San Andres, Hector Giron and my father, Daniel Irwin, we purchase over one thousand gifts: small toys, puzzles, games, dolls, balls, and shoes. 100% of your donation will go toward the gifts!
On Christmas day, we load the toys in the back of two pickup trucks. With a group of extraordinary volunteers, we drive about 50 miles into the rainforest over difficult and treacherous roads to several rural villages, where families are living in extreme poverty. We have a dressed up Santa Claus with his elves handing out gifts to these wonderful children. Thanks again for making this possible.
