Stella Rose

On March 8th, 2018 we welcomed our sweet baby girl Stella Rose Onorato to the world. She was delivered by c-section at 37 weeks. At birth Stella had breathing issues. Her feedings were held for 24 hours and her sugar was monitored. After 24 hours the NICU doctor cleared her to eat. Stella had been doing so well. However on March 15th around 4:30pm Stella was taking a nap when Brittany heard a sound coming from Stella's bassinet and found her projectile vomiting and than she became unresponsive. Tommy then called 911 and thankfully our neighbors, a police officer and nurse, were outside and able to help take control of the situation. Stella was then taken by ambo to Upper Chesapeake and than transferred to University of Maryland. We are still waiting to find out what caused this. Stella is on constant oxygen, IVs, EKGs, blood work and just finished having a spinal tap. Brittany is one week post c-section. Unfortunately Tommy is missing work due to this with no paid leave and is the sole provider. He has been keeping their sweet 7 year old Gianna while we will continue to update more as test results come back. She will be seeing a ENT within the next 2 hours. Stella is now admitted at University of Maryland. We ask if you are able to help relieve the stress for Stella and her parents and please cover her in healing prayers and love. Please help share Stella's story and we will update everyone as much as possible. We are not ignoring anyone we are getting an overwhelming amount of messages about her and figured this is the best way to be in contact with everyone. Again please continue to pray for our amazing sweet baby Stella. At this time University of Maryland has asked for Stella to have no visitors.
