Save Chris Okonji

Chris Okonji is a friend of 30 years.
A truly genial fellow who is currently fighting for his life.
He has a failing and very weak heart that has led to the complication of a failing kidney as well.
There is hope however as the doctors have confirmed they can save him by fitting a pacemaker urgently.

The cost of this procedure alone is estimated at N2m.
Aftercare is estimated to cost about N1m.

Chris has battled with managing this condition for years, and his finances have suffered terribly as a result because his business ground to a halt, his wife has had to give up work to be his full time carer, their savings have run out, his family are suffering terribly.

This is an appeal direct to Bensu Alumni, and ICC Old Boys- and indeed, our humanity, to help a fallen soldier who is a wonderful soul, and to bring him back some sunshine in his darkest hour.

Anything you can give is not too small.
Anything at all will count greatly.

What you give can make the difference between life and death for him, literally.

Please find it in your heart to give whatever you can afford so that Chris can get back on his feet and continue being a father to his young children and a husband to his wife, yet.
