From Gabriel the father: "On December 30th just after noon, I gave my blessing for Jayden to take his brothers Noah & Elijah up to UNI with him to his apartment so they could enjoy each others company and play some Civilization the board game. They had just left the Casey's in Alden just prior to finishing their trip when they slid through a stop sign and was struck sideways by a semi truck carrying corn. Our 20 year old son Jayden was driving. Our twin son Elijah was in the passenger seat and our Noah was in the back seat. The car was struck on the rear right corner and spun into a ditch. Our son Noah immediately lost his life and our world shattered.  No matter what we're feeling right now, I am unbelievably grateful and blessed. Jayden and Elijah made it through the horrific incident. Our boys... made it.... If I could emote the cries of happiness that I've been experiencing these last few days in seeing the support that my friends, family & community has shown to these kids, I would. Jayden is currently in critical condition at Merci One in Des Moines receiving amazing love and care while he takes the time he needs to heal. Elijah is here with me now in Jayden's room. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your thoughts and prayers are welcome and received. Shevaughn, myself, Elijah and all of our family thank you for your help and support. We are currently working on funeral arrangements for Noah and will update everyone accordingly. Thank you again. Gabriel" All proceeds from this fund will be going to the parents of Noah, Elijah & Jayden to help support the funeral and living expenses due to time away while they help their children heal.
