Help for Ani

Our friend and colleague, Ani, has just learned that she needs surgery on her back to repair a severely herniated disc. Not having the surgery soon could result in permanent nerve damage. After two years of physical therapy, injections, and chronic pain resulting from an accident, she is scheduled to have surgery on November 11, 2014. The good news is that Ani has health insurance to pay for medical expenses.. The not-so-good news is that Ani will be unable to work for four to six weeks after the surgery. Ani has no paid leave from her work and no short-term disability to provide income during her recuperation. Her existing funds for living expenses and her out of pocket costs while she heals are minimal.
Ani is a dedicated professional who helps others every day. Now, we want to help her at a time when she needs our support.
Ani's expenses over the next four to six weeks are estimated to be $7,000. Her friends ask for your donations to help her during this difficult time. We want Ani to focus on her healing and not worry about the financial piece of her life right now. Her friends and colleagues want her back soon, healthy and pain-free, doing what she does best...helping others.
