My name is Merlin, I am 5 months old and I urgently need your help.
I have just been adopted and then suddenly became ill. I started to have seizures and the vet has said I have a problem with my liver. I need to have a CT scan to find the problem and then have an operation to fix it.
I'm not covered on my insurance as I became ill just before my initial exclusion period was over (10 days). My new owner is on disability benefit and unable to seek any assistance from PDSA, RSPCA or Blue Cross, due to being outside their catchment areas. If we can get enough people to donate I can live a long happy life.
History: I was living with my 5 siblings on the streets of Romania. The charity Love4dogs Rescue found us and took us in. I spent five days in the back of a van as I made my way to the UK. I have only been in the country three weeks and what a journey it has been. I had just started to settle in to my forever home when this started. I have spent a week at the vets but I am back home for now with lots medication. My tail will wag forever in gratitude of any donation big or small.
