Emma's Dream to perform in Europe

My name is Emma. I am 15 years old, and this year I was nominated, for the second time, to participate In the American Music Abroad Red Tour. This year I was nominated for cello and for flute. I have chosen to perform with cello.
The AMA is a program for high school musicians who show skill in music performance and merit. The AMA sends a group of eligble students to perform in in Europe for three weeks in the summer. This trip has 11 performances in France, Belgium, Germany and Austria. This is an amazing opportunity for me to do something I love in new and exciting places! It is just me and mom at home, and this is too much for her to spend on a summer music program. This GoFund Me page is for my friends and family who would like to support me on this goal of mine. Anything you donate is greatly appreciated, and already I have friends who have supported me through candy bar sales!
As the months pass, I will keep everyone updated on my progress.
I have been playing both cello and flute for 6 years now. Last year I began with Steel Drum and I can also noodle around on piano and mandolin. When I am older, I plan on becoming a professional cellist and play in a philharmonic (hopefully in France).
