See that smile on my face? That is because I'm in one of my favorite places with some of my favorite people. I have been able to go to Kenya and work in Kaptembwa slum, Nakuru, eight times before and I have the opportunity to go back!
There are 150 children that attend Beth Haven School and what a privilege to be a part of their education. These children are the future of Kenya and with education, there is hope! Life is usually lived in survival mode. At Beth Haven, however, we serve the kids two meals a day. We play together, learn together and encourage each other. Friendships are built.
Working with this community, we are setting a vision of self-sustainment. Projects like jewelry making, chicken raising, free medical clinic, constructing desks for the school, and above all, relationship building are on going projects. These people are family.
I need your help to get me to Kenya. I need $2000 to pay for the air fare, guest house, food and water, and transportation. Your gift will support the on-going ministry that I am part of--Kenya REAL, kenyareal.org.
