Patrick

On Friday, July 21st our oldest son Patrick Fink passed away at the age of 27. He was bright, funny and quite the charmer. He was the type of guy you could go to with a problem and he never hesitated to give advice or show support in spite of his own struggles. All around he had a beautiful soul and a kind heart.
Patrick suffered from a horrible disease that has become an epidemic in this country. It can destroy families, it doesn't discriminate and ultimately in too many cases results in death. Really, it has no boundaries. Yes, our son suffered from addiction. And we as a family are not ashamed or embarrassed to share this fact nor should anyone in the same situaion. Because we as a society need to educate ourselves and understand that this disease is real, its devastating and is needlessly killing off so many at an alarming rate, especially our youth.
It's really been a rough road, this disease is big, it was bigger than Patrick, bigger than our family and it finally swallowed him up. Even though our son and big brother is finally at peace and his struggle is over, our hearts will forever be broken. We love you buddy!
We are asking for help with his final expenses so we may provide him with what he truly deserves.
