Help momma get back on her feet ❤️

A little bit about momma ❤️. Her name is Betty VanAalst and her whole life has been committed to helping others. It’s what makes her happy and complete being able to give to anyone in need. She has been a caregiver for the last 13 years.  6 days a week, sometimes 12 hour days including weekends and holidays. Not a single complaint ever.   Just a true passion for others in need. For the last few months, Momma has been having balance issues and visual disturbances as well as massive headaches leading to several doctor appointments and an MRI.  In the meantime, Momma was in her driveway bending over to check something that caught her eye on her tire.  She lost her balance & fell resulting in 5 complete fractures of her pelvis. She was alone and had to get herself into her home and into bed.  At this point she didn’t realize the severity of her injuries. Unfortunately she dropped her phone and only when she tried to retrieve it, realized how severe the damage was. It wasn’t until the following morning, 24 hours later, she was finally able to reach her phone and contact us. 911 was called immediately and Momma was taken in for a CT scan & X-rays as she also hit her head when she fell. So we are now 3 weeks past the incident itself but far from recovery.  Momma hasn’t walked in 3 weeks and obviously has to learn to walk again.  The injury itself it’s a level 10 on the pain scale but on top of this she suffers from sever fibromyalgia which only adds to her recovery time.  And to add to it all her MRI results have revealed some additional alarming health issues involving White Matter and small vessel diseases of the brain .  So at this point we have convinced her that going back to work is not an option and she will be moving in with us as soon as she is released from rehab. She has a very long hard road ahead of her and has all the love and support anyone could ever need but between all the Dr bills,  physical therapy, follow up appointments / after care,  day to day financial responsibilities as well as relocating to a different state so we can care for her properly, we feel that monetary support is critical at this point.  Any donation at all would be incredibly helpful and very appreciated.  Thank you for all your love & support we love you all!!
