GSCC Church - Preschool Project

Good Shepherd Christian Community Church (a part of Christian Light & Salt Foundation Inc) began its ministry in Fremont, CA with a small group of students meeting in the living room of a pastor's home in 2002. In 2007, we moved to our current location at 940 S. Stelling Rd. in Cupertino, CA, which has given us the opportunity to expand our ministry to meet the needs of the community around us and to continue to build a church that equips young people to raise healthy families, become leaders in their communities, and worship God in Spirit and in truth! We want to continue to grow and bless our community.

Our congregation feels so blessed to have a church site to call home now; and we want to open and invite others to share in our blessings. Our dream is to be able to offer an early child development preschool program at our church facility. Our mission for this preschool program would be to provide a secure environment where the focus would be to guide and support the development of the whole child – spiritually, socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically – through Christian principles.

Our target is to begin the preschool program in January 2018. In order to be able to open the preschool, several updates need to be made to the current church site, including building a playground, adding a second driveway entrance, and setting up formal classrooms, thus needing furniture and supplies. The total cost to setup this preschool is $100,000.00. Our church is seeking support to raise $100,000.00 by September 9, 2017 in order to proceed to the completion of all the aforementioned facility construction projects and the setup of classrooms in time for the preschool to begin in early 2018.

We believe early child development is such an important part of an individual's life. We hope that through this program, GSCC Church is able to offer up our facility and staff to love & serve the families with young children in our local communities.
