We are coming together to pay off the Grubbs family debt.
The Grubbs family is a sweet and passionate adoptive family with 2 boys and 2 girls who live in Austin, TX. Last year, they brought 2 teenage boys from Ethiopia to join their family.
Since the boys arrival, the family has quickly incurred bills from unanticipated costs which include 10 emergency hospital visits, 3 surgeries and many therapy sessions. This is after Johnathan took a 2nd job to work weeknights from 6pm-3am to pay for the adoption and travel costs from bringing their sons home from Ethiopia.
In addition, one of their children is experiencing great struggles and in need of additional on-going treatments, and it has become very clear to the family that more unanticipated costs will continue to rise.
