Seed the Market to Grow a Secure Future
The Hillsdale Farmers’ Market has been a vital part of our neighborhood since 2002. From providing healthy, locally grown food to food assistance for low income customers, supporting local farmers, fostering the growth of small businesses and being a community hub for connecting with our neighbors, we have been there.
Overlapping challenges have presented difficulties unlike ever before. As a result of the Covid crisis, market site parking lot construction and now wildfire caused hazardous air quality, the Hillsdale Farmers’ Market suffered a dramatic decline in revenue in 2020. We have taken specific steps to reduce costs, but it is not enough. To keep the Market functioning at the level of quality our customers expect, and secure a solid future, we must seek support from community. Our goal is to raise $20,200 by the end of this year.
We have received approximately $8,000 in matching pledges, including from our friends at OnPoint Community Credit Union. Can you help us meet our $20,200 goal?
