Grow America

As a farm,  we have recently been recognized as a critical industry by Homeland Security in the midst of this pandemic. Farmers are the true backbone of civilization, as we feed and clothe the world and fill grocery stores with all the essentials. In order for us to up our ante and bring fresh vegetables and herbs to our community through these difficult times, we are in need of an upgraded tractor.

Our old '52 Ferguson has reached the end of his life and is going into retirement. We can no longer use the Old Man to till and maintain the fields. He has gotten us through the years (with some fuss) and for that, we are grateful. For a few years now, we have been eyeing a small 24-horsepower tractor. This sub-compact tractor (RK24h)  is the perfect size for our current operation as well as for our plans for expansion to help supply our community.

About us:

Kristopher and I have been farming for close to 5 years now, providing fresh vegetables, eggs, and meat to both ourselves and our community through farmers markets and local restaurants. We both come from families rich in agricultural history and use this as a means of reconnecting to the earth and giving back. Kris is an army veteran who has found his solace through farming. He sees it as a way to continue to serve his country with one of the most essential yet underrated and underappreciated job there is. This is our way of life and we want to be better equipped to extend the fruits (veggies, in this case) of our hard work to others.

Our goal is to get this compact tractor as soon as possible to help us prepare and maintain our fields this growing season. We feel that the problems caused by COVID-19 is going to impact a great deal for the rest of the year and increase the need for locally grown produce.

Anything helps! What is given to us will be be given back in fresh, local food to those in need.

Thank you!!
