Group of Hope Community Outreach

The Group of Hope is  determined to help the Brooklyn communities of Crown Heights, East Flatbush , Canarsie and Brownsville especially the homeless population and those experiencing hardship while promoting community building. We are affiliated with St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church in Crown Heights Brooklyn NY. We have been active for three years now and in that time we have been able to organize and execute the multiple outreaches possible through group organized  fundraisers and out pouring support from the community and donors .

During this current pandemic, our community is experiencing a massive food crisis. We have  been able to create and organize a system that has allowed us to provide groceries to  over 50 families so far. As the need for this type of support increases we would like to continue this outreach in the long term but find ourselves at a stand still due to diminishing funds.
