Grossmont State Championship Rings

It has been an incredible season for the Grossmont College men's baseball team. In 2016, the Griffins were crowned Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Champions (PCAC). The Griffins advanced through playoffs only to be eliminated by Cypress College in the Sectional Regionals.
After being eliminated one round prior to the State Championship in the 2016 season, the Griffins began the 2017 season with one collective goal.
Winning a second consectuive league title in 2017, Coach Randy Abshier and the Griffins positioned themselves well to achieve their goal as they began playoffs. Ultimately they made good on their promise to each other by defeating Irvine Valley College in Regionals, Cypress College in Super Regionals, and Long Beach City College in Sectional Regionals.
The team played in it's first State Championship game on May 27th, 2017. On May 29th, 2017 Grossmont College won it's first State Championship, becoming the first team in San Diego and Pacific Coast Athletic Conference history to do so.
It was a momumental achievement and they are the first to accomplish it in 62 years. We would like to help support the coaches and player's by assisting in raising funds for the purchase of State Championship Rings.
