<div>We don’t have to explain to you the difficulty we are experiencing as we navigate the troubled waters of 2026.  Things are tough!  However, Trump policies are affecting some groups more than others and this isn’t more true than with our immigrant neighbors.  People who came to the US due to horrible global policies that gave them no choice but to seek economic security away from their homes —  only to be terrorized in their new homes!

<div>This GoFundMe is to help those neighbors who are deeply financially impacted by Trump’s global war on people outside of his inner circle.

<div>We are collecting money for families who are:

</div>
<div>- Unable to leave their homes for fear of harassment by ICE, whether or not they are in the US legally.
</div>
<div>- Unable to find work because of poor economic conditions in Portland, Oregon
</div>
<div>- Day laborers who may be working but cannot make enough money to fund food or shelter.
</div>

<div>Who are we? We are a group of Portlanders working with our neighbors.  With your help, we buy and create grocery bags to hand deliver to people who need resources most.
