My Dad's house was destroyed

Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I am fundraising for my father in Detroit, Michigan. This week, he lost everything. His house and business were destroyed by vandalism after someone threw a molotov cocktail bomg into his home while he was asleep. He lives above his business, which is a funeral home. The loud explosion woke him up and he was able to run and save his dog who lives with him. He fought past flames and the building burning rapidly and was injured. He escaped through a second story window and had to be rescued by firefighters. He has lacerations on his arms and hands, his hair was burned, and had carbon monoxide poisoning due to smoke inhalation. He has one eye due to an injury years ago when he was a police officer and was shot in his left eye by someone who had been arrested. his remaining eye due to the heat he had to walk through during the fire. He's lived and worked in his neighborhood for years and is esteemed highly in his community as a good person. A neighbor offered her help and located me via social media since he didn't have his phone and I live out of state. He has nothing left after years of work at the age of 64.
