Grip is an action packed short film set about the relationship between a young boxer, Alex, and his coach, Terry, set against the backdrop of a boxing match.
Grip is being conceived by a group of dedicated film practitioners for the #MYRODEREEL2019 short film competition and also to bring to light the issue of abuse in sports.

Needless to say filmmaking is expensive business. The bulk of our budget will be used for catering for our cast, extras and crew. (hopefully over 100 extras!!) Most of us will know what it's like to go on a filmset and not be fed :( So help us out and ensure that our cast and crew are well fed. Below are some other areas we will use the funds
- Catering (100 Extras!!)
- Film equipment hire (Skypanels...skypanels everywhere~)
- Props/Wardrobe (boxing Gloves are expensive!)
- SFX Makeup (for that Creed look!)
If through everyones kind generosity we exceed our goal, we will be donating the excess of the proceeds to DVconnect Australia, ( http://www.dvconnect.org ) a not for profit organisation, helping anyone who is going through domestic violence. Please visit their website to find out more and support their cause.
Once again we really appreciate all donations no matter how big or small!!
