Grindean Mission Trip to Bolivia!!!

“The Time is NOW...” Those were the words Kim felt in her heart. After 6 years of Cancers, health issues, and struggles, there was not much left for anything but survival. Plus, Colby had his ministries (while caring for Kim and the kids) and the kids were still on the youngish side. Our hearts have always been inclined to serve in various capacities, and overseas ministry has always been on the top of that list. When God began quietly whispering in Kim’s heart early last spring, she was still quite disabled. Though her heart longed to serve in many capacities, her body was not up to the task. And no amount of medicines, tests, scans, or natural supplements were moving her very far in the right direction. Then, the floodgates opened and God began healing her in a quick and mighty way! He began showing her little by little the plans he had for her and their whole family. Meanwhile, God had been speaking to Colby’s heart, and began opening up opportunities. It was very apparent that He was moving rapidly to make this “Mission Dream” a reality! So, here we are!!! The entire Grindean family will be serving in Bolivia over Christmas and into January!!! While there, we will be working with area churches, an orphanage, a school, and even an animal shelter... Who knows what else God has in store? 

So, we are asking you to be partners with us in this venture. There are many ways you can do this. First, prayer. We need prayer for the people with whom we will be working, for all of the details of the trip, and for our funds to be met. 

Next, please pray for our family. This is a huge step of faith for all of us (especially those of us with physical and developmental/emotional needs). We trust that just as God is working in the details, He is also working in our bodies, minds, and hearts.

Lastly, we are asking for partners in funding. Our projected expenses are around $10,000-$12,000 for our entire family to serve in Bolivia. We are fully trusting that God will provide those funds, and that he will use YOU to do it! Would you please consider giving? No amount is too small. We are thankful for each and every gift, and count YOU ALL as partners with us!!! So, as we trust and make plans, we remember this verse: 

     “See, I am doing a new thing!
       Now it springs up; do you not
       perceive it? I am making a way
