Griffin's Friends Marathon COVID19 + 7.2 = 26.2miles ..... (ITS A LOT)
"It's not about where we run, it's about why we run"
Although, COVID has changed our yearly plans for running either the Boston or Holyoke Marathon, we've decided to create our own marathon starting in Agawam and ending in West Springfield on Sunday, October 18th. Keep an eye out for the us in the blue penny's running (crawling) around! Cheer, chant, and please try to not run us over.
Griffins Friends has been providing support for children with cancer for 26 years and is based out of Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. The organization was started in the memory of our family member, Griffin Kelleher, with the main mission to "Bring Moment of Joy to Courageous Kids".
The funds we raise directly supports our mission of providing small acts of kindness to our kids going through their cancer treatment and their family members. Every bit makes a difference, we are so excited to spoil our kids and families during the holidays. Help us bring smiles to the most courageous kiddos out there!
