<div><strong>support my journey to becoming a grief process facilitator</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>dear friends, colleagues, and supporters,</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>i need your help! i want to train as a grief process facilitator with circlewise to guide people safely and with trauma sensitivity through their personal and collective grief experiences.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89391709_1742312722672703_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>who am i?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>i am jakob, a freelance artist working with video, performing arts and ritual. i am moved by questions about my own cultural origins ( northern german, european, white), my own and collective contradictions, shortcomings and entanglements within them and the search for a more wholesome culture of community and care against this background.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>why this training?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>grief is a part of life – it affects all of us. yet, in our society, there are few spaces where grief is acknowledged, held, and processed in a meaningful way. often, people are left alone with their pain, struggling to find understanding and support.
</div>
<div>my dream and will is to help create spaces where grief is not suppressed but embraced as a natural process of healing and transformation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>the training at circlewise offers me exactly the knowledge and the tools to accompany people in their grieving processes not only empathically, but also professionally and well-founded. last november / december, i already took part in a large grief fire there. i was thrilled and very moved by how sensitively, lively and down-to-earth elke and aaron and the many assisting people organised and held this event; and also how they were able to provide a safe space for people from a wide variety of backgrounds (young, old, queer, bipoc, with children...). i appreciate their work for being clear in method, always updating scientifically and research wise, and bringing in topics like sustainability, power dynamics and social justice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>the training extends over one year, there are three presence modules of five days each between march and october and the participation in two grief fire rituals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>why do i need your support?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>i normally finance my education through my work as a videographer and editor, primarily for artistic and cultural clients. due to the increasingly critical political, economic and social situation and the many economic cutbacks in the cultural sector, my income situation has become extremely uncertain and is not sufficient to cover the instalments and additional costs for this training.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>every contribution – big or small – helps me take this step. your support means:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✦ the opportunity to complete this valuable training
</div>
<div>✦ financial stability during this phase of my journey
</div>
<div>✦ a chance to make grief support my long-term vocation
</div>
<div>✦ to use what i am learning to expand my artistic work and add new forms to it
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>how will the funds be used?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✧ course fees for the training (2790,00 eur, in instalments)
</div>
<div>✧ travel and accommodation costs for in-person modules (1540,00 eur)
</div>
<div>✧ materials needed in the training (110,00 eur)
</div>
<div>total: 4440,00 eur
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>i'm also happy to receive donations off this platform, please get in touch with me for further info. i will then recalculate the overall goal accordingly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>if you’d like to support me, i would also deeply appreciate it if you could share this campaign by fowarding the link <a href="https://gofund.me/ed0d0abf" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://gofund.me/ed0d0abf</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>other possible support are of course commissions for my work as a videographer and my artistic work. you can find examples of my work on my website: <a href="https://jakobklaffs.de" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://jakobklaffs.de" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://jakobklaffs.de</a></a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>i am truly grateful for any form of help – whether financial, through networking, or simply through encouragement.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>thank you for walking this path with me!</strong>

<div><strong>liebe freund:innen, bekannte und unterstützer:innen,</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div class="youtube-replace"><br />

<div class="youtube-replace"><a href="https://youtu.be/fuUkCSwf_-4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://youtu.be/fuUkCSwf_-4" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://youtu.be/fuUkCSwf_-4</a></a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>wer bin ich?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>warum diese ausbildung?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>warum brauche ich eure unterstützung?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>✧ reisekosten und unterkunft für präsenzmodule (1540,00 eur)
</div>
</div>
<div>insgesamt: 4440,00 eur
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
