Our mother was many things. If you knew our mother you know that she lived a wild 50 years of life. She was the life of the party. You could call her and say let's go out and she would say when where and what time. She cared so much and worried often about the people she loved. If she could help you, she wouldn't hesitate for a second. She'd kick anyone's ass for messing with her family "in a New York minute" lol. Things weren't always easy for our mom but no matter what she kept her head held high and fought through all her battles. Some days she won and some days she lost. Nothing a can of beer and a pack of Newport's couldn't fix though lol Regardless of anything she stayed the same till the end. She wasn't ashamed of who she was. You either loved her for everything she was flaws and all or you didn't. For us it was always simple. No matter how crazy she drove us we loved her. We knew that her love was unconditional even if she had a hard time showing it from time to time. We have never met anyone as strong as she was. Even till the last day she was fighting. Doctors told us she had 1-2 hours and she lasted 8-9 hours. She probably was saying in her head "f*ck atta here". The day she left this world, she left behind 3 kids. Joshua, Charlotte and Brittney. Also leaving behind two grand babies who she loved dearly, Janiyah and Josiah. Our mother might be gone but she left pieces of her here on this earth. We all have a part of her in each and everyone of us. It is an honor to be Gricelas kids and I'm sure anyone related to her would feel the same. Let us always be reminded of the amazing and outgoing woman she was. How big her heart was and how strong her love felt when she let you in. She truly left her mark on this world. She will never be forgotten, she made sure of that.

We have had a couple of people reach out about making donations for our mothers ceremony so we decided to make the Go Fund Me for those who would like to make a contribution.
