Greyhounds Only Med Emergency Fund

Greyhounds Only is a non-profit group in the Chicago area that works to find forever homes for racing greyhounds. The dogs have a very long journey from the racing tracks to their final destination. Greyhounds Only provides all needed medical care until the hound is adopted, which can include dogs with injuries or conditions requiring medical treatment or surgery. The group depends on donations to pay for medical expenses.  This fund will be used for medical treatment including medications, surgery, and veterinary costs to get these wonderful hounds ready for their new adoptive home.  Medical costs for treatment vary but can run into the thousands of dollars for injuries such as broken bones or for surgery.
