Marriage of the Arts in Herrnhut, Germany

have been given a wonderful opportunity to serve the Kingdom through art.
It's an opportunity to use my creative gifting to change the world and invite
people in the Kingdom. Youth With A Mission (YWAM) has a
Discipleship Training School in Herrnhut, Germany. The school has a program
called "Marriage of the Arts" and it is a perfect fit.
:: Starting September 1, I will be serving on a team of other artists trained in different disciplines i.e. musicians, dancers and illustrators. Honestly, it is EXACTLY what I have been praying for. The world is bursting at the seams with stories. Stories of poverty, injustice, and pain... but also stories of hope and change! The Marriage of the Arts DTS is an opportunity for artists to step into the Great Commission in a new way.
:: In this six month long school we will go through a lecture phase learning about the Lord's character and His Love for us. This phase also focuses on arts training, being challenged within our specific disciplines to strengthen our abilities. The second phase is the outreach phase where we will go out to Asia to serve others in practical ways.:: I am writing this asking for your prayers and support. I am in need of funding to be part of this experience. The total needed for the trip is between $7-8,000.
:: My goal is to rally 40 people to donate $200 in which case my funding goal would be met. However this is just a statistical number and I know it may not be possible for everybody. Feel free to pray or consult with family members, your spouse, church and friends in considering this. I will appreciate any size of a donation, knowing that God will work through every donation to make this trip possible.
:: I am thankful and humbled by all of this, the opportunities God has given me, relying on Gods provision, and God actively seeking to love us. It is exciting to become a small piece of something bigger than myself bringing the love of Christ to a broken world.
