Many of you may know Tom Gresser, former owner of the Roxbury Tavern. Just over a year ago he “sold” the  tavern on land contract. Less than a year into the contract, the buyers defaulted on the contract payment, failed to pay insurance premiums, taxes, or utility bills. (Tom paid 3000.00 to them at closing for 2018 taxes he owed. No taxes have been paid.)

As a result Tom is in the process of foreclosing on this contract. In doing so he has incurred significant legal fees and costs.

Tom has incurred over $5205.00 in attorney fees, and thousands of dollars in expenses related to the tavern. For example, $500.00 insurance on the building,  and nonpayment of land contract to date of over $4200.00.
