Collective Health and our employees our coming together to raise money that will be distributed to several local charities in the Texas area to help those that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The money donated will be distributed to the charities below to help in various aspect of help people and animals rebuild their lives. From Schools, to general relief, and mental health and food supplies, to helping abandoned pets we are looking to raise as money as we can to help out and give back.
The Spring Scaling Champions at Collective Health are working together with our Greggz Give Back team to help with this effort.
All raised money will go to the following charities -
Make it Personal: Hurricane Harvey & Supporting SBISD Families is a fundraising effort set-up by the Spring Branch Education Foundation - Mary Ellen Luck's old school district that was hit particularly hard by the hurricane. This is a public school district in Houston and all donations will be eligible for a tax receipt (not rated on Charity Navigator).
General Relief: American Red Cross provides emergency response services, shelter, meals, relief items, and health care to evacuees (3/4 stars on Charity Navigator).
Medical & Health: Americares provides medical outreach and basic supplies (4/4 stars on Charity Navigator).
Food & Supplies: Houston Food Bank will use donations for disaster relief until needs are met, then remaining funds will support on-going hunger relief efforts (4/4 stars on Charity Navigator).
Animal Lover: Houston SPCA is accepting donations to help local animals affected by the hurricane (4/4 stars on Charity Navigator).
We are looking to collect funds by October 6th, 2017.
